Primary lithologies were described using different terminology during Expeditions 301 and 327, but they are equivalent, as indicated by color and pattern. Hole diameter was determined by mechanical caliper on lithodensity log. The upper part of Hole U1362A (above the lithologic column) was drilled with a 14¾ inch tricone bit, whereas other hole sections shown were drilled with 9⅞ inch bits.
