Notes: mbsf = meters below sea floor, msb = meters subbasement. Hole 1026B achieved a total depth of 295.2 mbsf during Leg 168, but much of the open hole collapsed and a metal liner (drill pipe) was installed to maintain a hydraulic connection with the formation. This liner extends up into casing, so there is no actual "open hole" in Hole 1026B. Instrument string extends from upper plug in CORK head to the end of the lower end of the sinker bar. A = Antares, O = Onset. * = includes gas-tight, acid addition, tracer injection, and microbiological OsmoSampler systems. All except the two samples monitoring the second interval in Hole U1301B were recovered during September 2004 dive operations.
