Figure F15. Core photograph of silt with organic matter and thin shells abruptly overlying silty medium sand with common glauconite grains and gastropod shells (85 cm), which in turn overlies chaotically arranged thick shells (Unit III; 313-M0027A-89R-2, 80–102 cm). Contact is interpreted to be a flooding surface, with an offshore setting abruptly overlying a shoreface to shoreface–offshore transition setting.
