Silica = silt-size silica (US MIN U SIL 40 purchased from US Silica). CRS = constant rate of strain consolidation test number: BULK = Atterberg limits were performed on bulk, air-dried material before resedimentation and CRS testing; RESED = Atterberg limits were performed on additional, oven-dried resedimentation sample but from the same batch because of lack of material after CRS testing. Clay fraction = clay fraction by mass, LL = liquid limit, PL = plastic limit, PI = plasticity index.
