Fractures in igneous basement are mostly steeply dipping (70°–75°), with a conjugate set at shallow dips (15°–20°). There are two main groups of veins, one with shallow dips (~10°–40°) and another with dips ranging from 50° to 75°. Dip angles for magmatic foliation are highly bimodal. Near-vertical dips (corresponding to near-vertical flow in Unit VII) are dominant, with the remainder of shallow dips corresponding to rocks with shallow to moderate flow alignment.
