Most geopetals are within 4° from horizontal as viewed on the archive-half core face. Geopetals from 39.02 to 39.12 mbsf (Section 330-U1376A-5R-1) were recorded in the vesicular top of a large clast; angles vary from 0° to 8° on either side of horizontal (Fig. F37), resulting in an overall average of ~0°.
