    • Objective:
         		Site CAS-03C is an alternate location for Site CAS-03B. A stronger BSR can be seen in the MCS data from 1999 than underneath CAS-03B. This site is also unaffected by the presence of faults.

  • core physical properties
  • logging (LWD, wireline)
  • gas hydrate concentration estimates
    • Drilling and Logging program
         		APC to refusal; XCB; PCS and HYACINTH (pending funding) pressure cores

         		LWD, triple combo, FMS-sonic, multiple use of APCT, DVTPP
    Nature of rock anticipated:
         		Interlayered silts and clays, some authigenic carbonates possible
