Investigations of offset well data were carried out in parallel with data analysis. Three-dimensional seismic data were interpreted to identify and account for any risks that may be posed by the presence of methane hydrates and/or free gas in the shallow subsurface. All investigations indicate that there is little or no risk posed by hydrate deposits in this area.
