A. Clinopyroxene oikocrysts with small plagioclase chadacrysts form subophitic domains that appear in hand specimen as subspherical dark patches. Coarser-grained network domains between oikocrysts are characterized by zoned prismatic plagioclase and appear in hand specimen as a network of lighter colored material.
