Figure F10. Composite diagram showing basement recovery, lithology, hole diameter, and bulk density of logging and discrete measurements from Holes U1362A and U1301B (Expedition 301), hung on a common datum of top of basement. Primary lithologies were described using different terminology during Expeditions 301 and 327, but they are equivalent, as indicated by color and pattern. Hole diameter was determined by mechanical caliper on the lithodensity log. The upper part of Hole U1362A (above the lithologic column) was drilled with a 14¾ inch tricone bit, whereas other hole sections shown were drilled with 9 inch bits.
