Note the heavily worn hard-facing structure of the tool after going through ~2.5 m of fill at the bottom of the hole. S. Top of the Bowen RCJB, showing the stainless steel ball dropped from the rig floor to activate reverse circulation by plugging the central throat and diverging fluid flow to the jets that are visible on the outside face of the tool in N.
