Education and outreach

Education and outreach efforts during Expedition 344 focused on using social media sites, interviews, and animations to communicate scientific objectives to the public. Blogs and photos were added daily to joidesresolution.org/, Facebook, and Twitter. Approximately 30 videoconferences were conducted with students in schools and universities in the USA, France, and Japan (Table T2). Finally, a series of videos highlighting CRISP science were released during the expedition and will continue to be produced postcruise.
