Methane concentrations in the three cores were statistically insignificant (≤2 ppmv). Inorganic geochemistryThree sediment samples in Hole U1358B were taken for analyses of percent carbonate and major and trace element analyses (silicon, titanium, aluminum, iron, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, phosphorus, strontium, barium, vanadium, scandium, and cobalt).
