doi:10.2204/iodp.sp.340.2011 Schedule for Expedition 340Expedition 340 is based on part of Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) drilling proposal number 681-Full2 (available at iodp.tamu.edu/scienceops/expeditions/antilles_volcanism_landslides.html). Following ranking by the IODP Scientific Advisory Structure, the expedition was scheduled for the R/V JOIDES Resolution, operating under contract with the US Implementing Organization (USIO). At the time of publication of this Scientific Prospectus, the expedition is scheduled to start in St. John’s, Antigua (Lesser Antilles), on 6 February 2012 and to end in Curacao, Netherlands, on 18 March 2012. A total of ~38 days will be available for the drilling, coring, and downhole measurements described in this report (for the current detailed schedule, see iodp.tamu.edu/scienceops/).
